Bridge Park Project Memorial Plaque Program
Honor a friend or loved one in Sylva's new Bridge Park with a bronze plaque placed on one of the pillars of the Bridge Park Pavilion. Displayed on the inside of the pavilion, the plaques will be available for the public to read while visiting the park. This program is aimed at honoring Jackson County residents, living or deceased, who have had a significant and positive impact on our community.Grants Awarded:
- $10,000 Jackson County Municipal Grant, awarded to the Town of Sylva for the BPP
- $1,500 Southwestern NC Resource Conservation & Development Council, to the Town for the BPP
- $500 from North Carolina Community Foundation
- $5,000 from Vanguard Charitable Trust
