This year has been filled with groundbreaking moments in pursuit of a more equitable and inclusive community. Here’s what YOUR support helped us achieve this year:

  • Ground-breaking Strategies for intergenerational Wealth: 130 Ward 8 renters have become homeowners through Bridge Park’s Ward 8 Home Buyers Club building intergenerational wealth  
  • Breaking Ground for Employment Opportunities: 267 East of the River residents employed in construction jobs after graduating from our Skyland Workforce Training program
  • Groundbreaking Resiliency Strategies for Black-Owned Businesses: $80,000 in grants disbursed to businesses along Good Hope Road for small business preservation pilot program 
  • Ground-breaking Attendance at this year’s River Festival: 9,000 residents joined us in celebration at our 9th Anacostia River Festival 
  • Bridge Park Groundbreaking: We are excited to announce that we will be breaking ground in the New Year!
